AHAR is Approaching!

AHAR's first required submission is November 15th and it is important for the data to be correct and complete! AHAR is based on TBIN's Universal Data Elements and is limited to Emergency Shelters and Transitional Housing Programs. It requires an unduplicated count of persons within four primary reporting categories: Emergency Shelter - Individuals, Emergency Shelter - Families, Transitional Housing - Individuals, Transitional Housing - Families. Following the main AHAR submission there will be a second submission in February and March for "Veterans Only" data. Right now you should be looking at your data, monitoring and educating your end users to ensure data is being recorded for all required UDE's and working to correct any errors like duplicates, incomplete fields or don't know or refused data answers. Be on the look out for important AHAR updates and reporting from your dedicated TBIN staff!
